Ms. Labat has extensive litigation experience in handling complex, high exposure tort cases from start to finish, including trial. Her experience includes professional liability (medical malpractice, broker/agent, appraiser and home inspector), commercial contract and mortuary claims, product and premises liability, intentional torts, wrongful death, construction and commercial automobile accidents.

Ms. Labat has first chair jury and bench trial experience.  She has successfully prepared and defended against numerous dispositive motions, as well as consistently obtained laudable results in complex multiple party mediations and settlement conferences.


Ms. Labat earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. While in law school, Ms. Labat served as a Research Assistant to a Professor of Research and Writing.  She also served as a Law and Motion Clerk to The Honorable Irving Shimer, Retired.


Ms. Labat is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California, United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit and United States District Court for the Central District of California.
