Steven Wang specializes in a broad range of litigation matters, with emphasis on complex business litigation, product and professional liability defense, insurance coverage, and real estate matters. He has extensive experience representing diverse clients in both state and federal courts, on complex and high value cases in all phases of litigation.

Mr. Wang is both a trial and an appellate practitioner who has achieved outstanding results for his clients at both the trial and appellate level.  Mr. Wang has substantial trial and mediation experience.  He has successfully tried, as second chair, a wrongful employment termination case for a local municipality, and resolved numerous insurance coverage and construction defect disputes in mediation.

Prior to joining Miller LLP as Special Counsel, Mr. Wang was a senior attorney at Callahan & Blaine APLC, and an associate attorney at Newmeyer & Dillion, LLP.  Mr. Wang also served as local “of counsel” to Philadelphia consumer rights law firm of Brodsky & Smith, handling California court appearances on securities class action and shareholder derivative litigation, as well as civil rights, complex commercial, and catastrophic injury litigation.

Mr. Wang is admitted to practice in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.


Mr. Wang earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California, Irvine.

While at law school, Mr. Wang served as a judicial extern to U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judges Ernest M. Robles and John J. Wilson (Ret.) in Los Angeles and Santa Ana, California.
