Who We Like

For Miller Law Associates, APC, it’s all about our clients, family, friends, and community. Our attorneys and staff are dedicated to community service and pro bono legal representation. Here are some of the people and businesses in our community that we admire for their mission, ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit:

BTTR (pronounced “better” for “back to the roots”) ventures, formed by Alejandro Velez and Nikhil Arora, two innovative and passionate 2009 graduates of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, is turning one of the largest waste streams in America, used coffee grounds, into a valuable food product- specialty mushrooms. Their zero-waste, closed production enterprise also happens to provide “green-collar” urban jobs and a boost to local community farms, all the while changing the world for the “BTTR”. Check them out at www.bttrventures.com, and ask for their specialty mushrooms at your local Whole Foods market.

Started by pastry chef turned candy maker and mother of three Christine Moore, Little Flower Candy Co. quickly gained a following in Los Angeles county and beyond. Little Flower stands as an example of the entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity of the Pasadena business community which Miller Law Associates, APC is proud to support.
